Who we are

Ørsted is a leading global renewable-energy company based in Denmark. They develop and operate offshore wind farms, onshore wind farms, solar projects, and energy-storage solutions.
The company was originally known as DONG Energy and relied on fossil fuels, but it made a major green transformation to focus on clean energy. In 2017, it was renamed Ørsted in honor of scientist Hans Christian Ørsted, the discoverer of electromagnetism. Today, their mission is to create a world fully powered by green energy.
